I recently ordered a $150 flower arrangement to be sent to my Uncle's funeral in White Plains, NY. The order was placed by a local flower shop in Richmond, TX called Lisa Marie's.
I paid the local shop $150 and asked for a nice arrangement. Lisa Marie advised me to allow the shop preparing the arrangement to choose the style so that I would get the best deal possible. The order was sent to BLOSSOM FLOWER SHOP in Yonkers, NY. BLOSSOM FLOWER'S threw together a basket that listed in the FTD book for $65 and sent it to the funeral.
I paid $150 for a $65 arrangement. I have contacted both flower shops involved, however, they are not willing to do anything to resolve the matter.
Because I was not able to attend the funeral, I wanted to send a nice arrangement. BLOSSOM FLOWER SHOP took advantage of the fact that I was not going to see the final product. As consumers we need to be able to trust FTD and Telefloral shops to send what we ask (and what we pay for). I was only informed about the arrangement being small, because my mother (who did attend the funeral) went into a shop in White Plains, NY and ordered the $65 FTD basket which turned out to be identical to my $150 arrangement.

DON'T TRUST BLOSSOM FLOWER SHOP TO SEND WHAT YOU PAID FOR!

Kathie, However, like most I didn't find it until after I was ripped off. Now, I come here and do a search before I buy something. I understand that there are ALWAYS unsatisfied people in the public and no matter what you do you cant have everyone happy. So if I come here and do a search and find 10, 20 , or for the matter 400 complaints I would do a little research on the company I was about to purchase from. Now, in the case of your company, being open 80 years and having one complaint would do little to sway me from purchasing from you. We as adults have to take into consideration that all people will not be happy. And as for this site, I am sure there have been more rumors spread by word of mouth in this world then on this site. The good thing about this site, is exactly what you did, come here and set the record straight. The even better thing about it is that you didn't even have to pay the web site to do it. Remember if you are a member of the BBB, you have to pay for that. And guess what? people can still make complaints. Yes you will still have to answer for them to the BBB. So the next time you purchase something from the web or anywhere else, do a search here, you might save a buck or two.

She was very upset knowing that BLOSSOM FLOWER SHOP is a very reputable flower shop who has been in business for 80 years and who she has been dealing with for many years with continued satisfaction. SOMONE MUST BE MISTAKEN! BLOSSOM FLOWER SHOP, Yonkers NY, has a very accurate computer system that files all orders for over the last 5 years and there are no records of ever receiving any orders from Lisa Maries in Richmond, TX. Blossom Flower Shop, Yonkers NY has not been a member of FTD since July, 2001. It is outragous that anyone can go on to this website without any proof of being ripped-off and slander any one they want. Who is to say that this is not just any lunatic trying to hurt someone. In addition, this is over 2 years old, I believe it's time to remove it from this site.
