When I agreed to the terms of buying the Gateway, state of the art computer. I had no idea that I was going to have to pay 5 months in advance before I actually get the computer. Never the less I did receive the computer but, I was promised an Plasma TV, Printer and a $500 gift card. I didn't receive the TV, Printer and $500 gift card.

I was told by an blue hippo representative that I would receive the TV and Printer after I have paid the remaing balance of the computer. I was Told by the blue hippo representative that the $500 giftcard was suppose tobe included in the shipment with the computer and amanager was looking into it. It is against the law to advertise or promise a customer items and make up your rules to prevent the customer from getting what you promised at the quoted price the customer agreed to.

I am also a victim of Blue Hippo Funding,I applied for the computer last year(2006)in February and I did pay a great deal of money before I received the computer from them but by this time I had probably called them to no avail,I was dissappointed in the computer since by the time I finished paying thousands of dollars for a system that I could have flat out bought from gateway for a much cheaper price. I did pay the system off and I had to constantly call about the free items(free plasma tv-which I received monday june 11th 2007 but no printer as of yet). I also had to pay interest charges on the account(this really irked me)since I was told by a representative that you pay weekly/biweekly and I opted for weekly at 52 weeks but you end up paying even more with this interest. I think a class action lawsuit should somewhat fix the problem and clients should be reimbursed for being overcharged for a computer that's not worth anymore than about $500 to begin with. People work too hard for their money for someone to cheat and beat them out of it,trust me when I tell you the computer is not worth the money you spend on it through Blue Hippo. I am signing off an angry client Byron Georgia.
