Bob's Discount Furniture Store The mattress gave me a back ache and they wouldn't refund money. ripoff Waterbury Connecticut
I bought a brand new queen mattress set, and the salesman assured me that the Bobs brand was the same quality and performance as the brand names, and then he stated that if there were any problems with the set, then I could return it within (30) days of the purchase.
Well, within three days after the purchase I was under excruciating back pain, since the mattress would bulge or deform when laying on it. I contacted the sales person, and he gave me the customer service number, then I called customer service, and they stated: We dont exchange or reimburse purchases based on comfort.
Why would anybody buy a mattress if is not for comfort? Well, they gave me the run around, the sales person would hide from me, and every time I called they would tell me that he was not in. So, I ended up buying a real brand labeled set, and my back problems went away, but I ended up with a useless mattress for which I paid over $700.BE AWARE, and dont pay attention to the COME ON DOWN line

Reread the reselection policy

it clearly states on the invoice that bobs provides you at the time of purchase. you (MUST) sleep on your mattress for a mininmum of (30 Days) before they can offer a reselection to a diffrent mattress or a refund of the purchase price less the delivery fee. the reason for the 30 days is because it takes around 30 days of sleeping on a new sleeping sureface for the body to adjust to it. just like buying a new pair of shoes. after some time they get comfortable and break in same with mattresses. also the mattresses in the stores have been tested for months on end and they are broken in so they feel very comfortable. however, when you get a new mattress delivered it is new and firm it needs time to break in. This is a case of a customer to reading the policy correctly.
