Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I bought a unlocked Motorola A1200(Moto Ming) phone from Bombay electronics store in Devon ave in Chicago, IL. It worked fine for 10 days then its LCD screen broke on its own. No scratches, or no physical damage to the phone. You can see the phone and say that it has no physical damage. Looks brand new.

Then I contacted Bombay electronics thinking that they will replace it. They said they can't replace it and asked me to get it repaired by Motorola in India(because I told him that I was planning to go to India). They told that the phones they sell have only International Warranty(Any where else except US) but not US warranty.

I sent it to India Motorola to have it repaired. I was told that the phone was supposed to be sold only in Hong Kong and it has to be sent back to Hongkong Motorola. Then I emailed HongKong Motorola and was told that because the phone was purchased in US, HongKong Motorola will not cover the warranty.

Now the phone is not covered by any country Motorola in the world.

Not sure how Bombay Elelctronics people are selling phones when they are not covered by Motorola in any country.

Bombay Electronics is cheating people by selling phones and saying that they have international warranty but they are not.

Can some one please help me how to proceed on this? I have all the emails from Motorola and documents.

Thanks,

Ram
