I owned and operated a store on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. Boynton Lighting did the work initially and we paid them in full.

Months later, a salesman from the company came in to explain new lighting options that would save us money on our bill - his name is Gary Pantal - and he is an unlicensed electrician in Florida, but says he is. I checked.

Bottom line: I paid the owner of Boynton Lighting in Boynton Beach, Florida a $3000 deposit for work to be done, which was a down payment.

In return we received two boxes of light bulbs...totally $650.

The owner, Bill Bateskas, decided to keep the remainder of the money.

If you can believe it, that's it. Boynton Lighting owes my Company $2,350 and has been refusing to return the money since March 2009.

As a note, he did the initial lighting, some $4000 and was paid.

He promised to pay us the $2,350. So did Gary Pantal, his sales assistant.

Both have lied and now all will wind-up wasting Court time to eventually pay the money anyway.

Below is my real first and last name.

If this site had a way to upload checks and invoices that would be great.

This will be a matter of Palm Beach County record soon enough though.

I have no doubt that Bill Bateskas of Boynton Lighting will make no response to this. And his underling Gary Pantal got thrown out of Yonkers, NY and had to run to Florida out of fear...that's what I heard. I'm right here ladies and I ain't going nowhere.

I'm only saying this because of all the "threats" that Gary made to me, the typical bs.

Bill Bateskas of Boynton Lighting has been sent several emails, certified letters of Demand for Payment, faxes, phone calls and he tries to dodge them all. Good thing we have a Court system, shame Boynton Lighting is run by monkeys..."theft by deception" is my accusation...

Bill, Gary, Boynton Lighting.

We will see you in Court.

I have contacted Bill Bateskas owner of Boynton Lighting, Boynton Beach, FL by email again, and he is still unwilling to repay my deposit money. I am posting this as an update that nothing has happened despite certified letters to Boynton Lighting and Mr. Bateskas, despite faxes to Boynton Lighting and it's owner, despite a phone call from my attorney demanding payment, he just doesn't care or doesn't want to honor his agreement. I have told him we're going to wind this up in Court, but I am really trying to avoid this annoyance. I contacted the BBB and they did nothing. Bill Bateskas has been a member of the BBB for 15 years, and he's not a bad guy, he's just not acting appropriately. It's a pretty small sum of money he owes my company. In preparation for Court I just did a simple search of Bill Bateskas and Gary Pantal (his partner) as I guess both will be there...anyway, the public record search for Palm Beach County Comptroller has a few infractions of law for both of them...maybe it's been a hot summer...wake-up Bill, just act like a man, pay back the deposit, call my attorney...get going...you've had my money since March...and there is a two year statue of limitations...I would hope you would want to restore your good name and the name of your business before March 2011...all of this is true, you've seen it, you shook hands with my partner and I on it. I have the emails, copies of the faxes, proof of mailing certified letters Demanding payment, checks that you or "the electrician" Gary Pantal signed, invoices, and 50 light bulbs...
