I and my mother arrived for my appointment at 10am, on time.

The woman who was scheduled to do my hair arrived much later, to be more specific she arrived around 10:45am.

She washed and conditioned my hair set me under the drier and as I was seated under the drier, I noticed my mother explaining to the stylist how I wanted my hair which was in singles/semi microbes, to look like the picture that she was showing the stylist.

After I was done under the drier the stylist then rinsed the conditioner out, then blow dried my hair, and started braiding it around 11:18am.

She started braiding my hair from the back and my mother noticed something that I refused to even consider.

She noticed that as the stylist was braiding my hair, there were pieces of hair that was sticking out a little too much, and she was braiding my hair too thin, and the stylist neglected to inform me or my mother, she just tried to hide the fact.

My mother also noticed that the way the stylist was braiding my hair was going to cause the whole style to become too flat and lacking body and fullness.

So my mother confronted the stylist and informed her that the style was already not matching the photo's my mother showed her, and the stylist response was Oh I aint even started with the top yet, see the top has more hair and it would give it more volume. So we believed that she new what she was talking about and left it to her.

Shortly after that my mother left and when she returned I was about finished. So it was about 2:40pm. a gentlemen walked in and said to my stylist "I had a 2:30pm appointment, and my stylist response was "aint nobody write it down, I was bout to leave soon as I got done with her." That threw me off completely.

I thought to myself that is too unprofessional you don't talk to your customers like that.

When she was completely done with my hair she handed me a hand mirror and the first thing I noticed was there were allot of unwanted hairs sticking out of place and I asked her, and assured her that I wasn't satisfied with her job "our those my hair's that are sticking out", because to my knowledge they could have very well been the extensions that she braided in along with my hair.

Her answer was yes then she tried to cut some of the out of place hairs off, but knew it was to much work, so she just tried to cover it up and took hair from the front of my head, and pulled it back so it would look as if there weren't any or not as much hair's out of place. Then I, my mother, and the stylist went to the checkout/check in desk, where the stylist wrote out a receipt and told us that the style came up to a total of $175.00.

Due to the fact that we brought the hair there at their shop and it just happened to be the most expensive hair they had which was called human hair.

We were told by another one of there employees that, that was the best route to go because the style that I wanted would leave half of the hair loose.

So my mother asked I thought that it was to be $125.00.

The stylist answer was, "yes it is but the hair came up to $55.00 and I used a pack and a half on her head".

So my mom paid her what the bill asked for, and as we were leaving my mother decided to go back to tell the stylist or To Whom It May Concern that we weren't satisfied with the hairstyle, I was waiting in the car. Then my mother called me on my cell phone and told me that a different employee wanted to look at my hair to see what went wrong or if there was anything wrong at all. So I went back, the stylist told me to have a seat and tried to cut down the access hair again.

My mother asked the stylist, "when you cut off the the hair that is sticking out, aren't you cutting her hair"? The stylist answered, "yes"? Then my mother said,"I don't want you to cut her hair"! The sylist then replied, "I'm not cutting her hair!"

My mother replied, "you just told me that you were cutting her hair!" "Judy just forget it, come on let's go." Then we left.
