Hi Folks, I am the CEO of BedJet.   We had the top ten most succesfull Kickstarter Tech. projects of 2015, the BedJet climate comfort system for beds -- a $1.3 million dollar crowdfunding campaign to help launch our product.  After being contacted by Brainiances from MArs during our campaign, we utilized them for our PR efforts on this Kickstarter project.  We paid them the over $7000 for their maximum level of PR support.

While they did deliver some very basic PR services and managed to get us 1 decent piece of coverage, we found them to have overpromised and under delivered.  Their process is to come up with an email blast and just blast it out a couple of times.  Basically we could have done far better on our own (I have done this PR work myself in the past) and the money was not well spent.  We chalked this up to a live and learn about a less than stellar service provider.

Primarily the rsason I'm filing this RIPOFF REPORT on Brainiacs from Mars is that they are utliizing BedJet and my own name front and center on their website to capture new clients.  Brainiacs is advertising that they are responsible for the success of our BedJet Kickstarter campaign, falsely claiming credit for BedJet achieving a $1.3 million dollar success on Kickstarter, as if they carried us there.

Here's the real record -- their PR efforts were responsible for a measly $13,000 in campaign pledges out of our $1.3 million.  The rest of it we did on our own.  We have tight analytics on this.  Hardly a success on their part and we lost money using them.  I consider their advertising of BedJet as one of their "flagship" clients and their claiming being responsible for our success on Kickstarter as completely and utterly fraudulent.  They are using our name to help close clients and the reality is we would never use them again.

If you are a Kickstarter creator considering using them -- please stay away, your money is better spent elsewhere.

I have contacted David Lee from Brainiacs from Mars and offered him the option to remove any mention of BedJet from his advertising, from their website and from his sales pitches to Kickstarter creators.   Unfortunatley he did not comply and we continue to get contaced by sad Kickstarter creators who after spending their hard earned cash there, wondered why they weren't getting a succesull result.

Because David Lee of Brainiacs from Mars would not comply with our request to stop fraudulently claiming credit for the success of our BedJet Kickstarter campaign, I'm posting this note to all Kickstarter creators -- WE WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN.  You can feel free to contact us about this matter at our website at bedjet.com.
