Let's talk facts, not trumped up charges that can't be proven...otherwise we risk credibility.
In order for Brookstone Law to legally operate their business within Newport Beach, they need to be licensed to do so.
Are they licensed? NO
Go to the Better Business B site to check their records. When applying to the BBB a business must disclose to the BBB the start date of their business. When did Brookstone say they started business?
As per the BBB...12/01/2006. Would you agree that Brookstone Law PC has been practicing law as Brookstone Law PC since 12/01/2006? Of course, the BBB has been told so, and Brookstone has paid the BBB to be a valued member of the BBB (payoff).
Now lets go to the state of California corporation lookup site. What date did Brookstone really begin doing business as Brookstone Law PC? 11/02/2009
Now who is lying? B stone, the BBB, or the State of California?
We know as FACT, that the State of California information is accurate...which means the other two are deceptive.
Now what about the Staffing Agency.....they originate payroll check as Federal Management Systems out of Las Vegas Nevada. Check to see if are a legal corporation in Nevada?
Well, yes they are! But they claim a state license exception 003, which means:
"A home-based business whose net earnings are not more than 66 2/3 percent of the average annual wage" You can draw your own conclusions here.
But, are they licensed in the state of California to operate there? NOPE
So, we have an unlicensed law firm doing business in Newport Beach, and in every city they have been soliciting.....and probably not licensed in any of those cities either.
Brookstone...........please rebuttal this by supplying your business licenses in all those cities you have solicited in!
AND they have a staffing agreement with the other guys, who are also unlicensed in the state or Newport Beach.
Now this is the real kicker!
California State law requires mutual consent by both parties to a "recorded conversation".
Isn't it nice to know that hundreds of calls get recorded without knowledge or prior consent?
ALSO
Isn't is nice to know that law firms can't split fees charged to clients with anyone but other law firms? Now how do they split fees then with supposed independent contractors that are not law firms?
So, Brookstone....please, for the sake of ending all this controversy , please reply with the legal basis for operating in this fashion.
