On Feb, 28th of 2005 I bought a 2003 Mitzubeshi(?) Galent from Brown and Brown Nissan in Mesa. LOVED the car for the whole 5 days that we had it, except for the fact that we slammed into the center divider going 70+mph on the 210 freeway in California for no apparent reason at all.

One minute I was sitting in the passengers seat talking to my husband the driver, and the next thing we were slammed into the center divider. The CHP officer didn't see anything in the road, so he ruled out that we hit something. CHP thought that we must have had a tire blow-out and that was the cause of the accident. However when the car went to the repair shop (didn't get repaired, it was totaled out) the repair man siad that there seemed to be something wrong with the axel or something. There is really no way to tell after the fact what the REAL cause of the problem was.

Well here it is almost 4 months later and I come across this site and I just happen to check out Brown and Brown, and I see that there are two people who bought cars from Brown and Brown and come to fidn out those cars were wrecked and repaired by Brown and Brown, and Brown and Brown failed to disclosed this to the costumer.

I BELIVE THAT MY VEHICLE WAS ALSO A WRECKED VEHICLE

When I read these stories, CHILLS went down my back. My husband and I are LUCKY to have made it out of that accident. Sooner or later someone is going to litterally die.

They should be put out of business.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, GO ELSEWHERE... NO CAR OR "GREAT DEAL" IS WORTH YOUR LIFE!!

GO SOMWHERE ELSE!!

Carfax is completely reliable

Not that Carfax is completely reliable, but you might want to run a carfax on that car. It may tell you it has a clear history, but it doesn't necessarily mean it does. Could be the car was repaired cash and never reported to DMV for whatever state it was in when it was potentially wrecked. Run the Carfax, if indeed it was totalled, by law you should have been informed of it before purchase. If the dealer knew, you can sue them. If the dealer didn't know, you sue them and the dealer sues whoever sold them/traded the car to them. In either case, you would get your money back. Hope it helps!
