Bruce Johnson Scammed me into believing that I would be getting $500.00/Week to have my car wrapped with "Gatorade" advertising other other
Received the following email from hiring manager, Bruce Johnson. We are pleased to confirm your status as our brand representative. A Payment package will be mailed out to you in short notice. The payment will include your compensation for the AD run and that of the decal specialist. Note that the wrapping of the car will be done at your residence and does not take long and you could be present while the wrap is done. Do acknowledge you have received this email and we will be in touch with further updates at the best time possible.
You will be compensated with $500.00 per week which is essentially a "rental" payment for letting our company use the space. No fee is required from you. Gatorade(r) shall provide experts that would handle the advert placing on your car. Adequate arrangements will be made as regards payment prior to making the AD visible on your car. It is very easy and simple with no application fees required, we look forward to reading from you soon. If the termns of the above works with you, do provide the information below: Full Name: Address: City: State: Zip Code: Country: Gender: Age: Phone Number: Type of Car and Color: Model/Year: Present condition and mileage. A check for $2,390.00 was sent to me. I then deppsited the check with no problem but later to be told by my bank that the check was not good. This was only after Bruce Johnson wanted me to send $1800.00 using "Walmart to Walmart" to a Mr. Frank Davidson of Baytown, Texas 77521. So, I didn't send a check of $1800.00 to Mr. Frank Davidson. Had I done that my bank account would be depleted of $1800.00 and I would not have gotten the $500.00 as well.
This is a warning. Be alert to internet scams like this. Fortunately, I decided to do an internet search of "Gatorade Car Wrap Promos" and found that this was just a big scam to get money out of people like me and you who are vulnerable and naive as well. Happy Holidays To You.
