I was first contacted in February, 2007 in response to a query I had put on the Internet looking for a Homebased business.

Todd Stebbens contacted me for the "Soft-sell", followed up by his boss Brandon Pryor for the "Hard-sell".

I would be a rep for a Canadian-based pharmacy company - XL Pharmacy selling prescription drugs on a website set up and managed by BTSI Network.

I researched both XL Pharmacy and BTSI with google and no alerts were displayed. Of course there is a legitimate company Broadcast Technical Services Inc. (BTSI) not to be confused with BTSI Network so that was my first mistake. The second mistake was that I was doing these searches while still on the phone with Todd waiting for Brandon to join us, because he would not let me hang up and allow me to do more thorough investigation.

I finally signed up with them for $495 for a template website.

I was assigned an advertising coach, Mark Williams who was very pleasant, helpful and caring (what a joke). He convinced me that I needed to take the full advertising package to "jump-start" my business. Cost was $8500 for guaranteed 60,000 website hits for one year. And he even helped me to find which of my credit cards had the available credit limit. What a nice guy (SIC)?

The credit card charge took almost 2 weeks to process, it kept being rejected by my credit card company. It turns out BTSI Network was in the process of changing their banks (at least that is the excuse they gave me!) and it was being rejected because of their company validation. That should have been a signal to me and I should not have authorized the charge with my credit card company. Am I a fool.

Finally, the website and everything was active at the beginning of March. So here it is almost 4 months later and I have not made a single commission on my website. RIP-OFF!

I have contacted all of them including Mark Green who is their Customer Service Manager. His explanation is that there is activity and if I look at my ad tracker report I will see that I am getting 4,800 hits per month (less than 300 repeat visitors) so they are living up to their contract. No guarantees that I would make any money although Mark Williams led me to believe I could expect $2500 per month in commissions.

Now this week someone named Sean called me to suggest that if I paid another $1000 he would help me get my websites working and earning the $2500 commission per month I am looking for. I told him that I was not spending any more money with his Rip-off company and still he kept up the "hard-sell" which drove me to tears. Finally when I started crying on the phone he gave up, apologized for disturbing me and hung up.

I am getting ready to retire soon and was looking for a small income to augment my pension but this is defintely not the answer. Instead of additional income I have ended up with $9000 debt.

My fault for not doing the appropriate research etc. before commiting to this company I know

Beware of this company and these unscrupulous individuals who are scamming the public and people who are looking for legit opportunities.

Dear Readers: I have been seen many people that have gotten scammed by BTSI Network. I use to work with xlpharmacy.com affiliate program. I gave support to the affiliates of Xlpharmacy and i heard many stories of how BTSI charge them "X" quantity and promise them money, sells, benefits - everything, and when they pulled there money out they disappeared, its a "ghost" company, they do not even answer phones or emails. So when this happens to persons like you what do you do? BLAME xlpharmacy!!!! But Why??? that is my simple question??? Instead of posting this terrible comments about xlpharmacy why don't you take a few minutes and give them a call. I know how the process works there. Why do you blame xlpharmacy for what BTSI charged you. Xlpharmacy will never charge an affiliate any money, the membership is free. $0.0, furthermore xlpharmacy's affiliate program provides free banners, free template sites, 45% commission. They even provide live support for affiliates, there is a guy on skyoe that works for xlpharmacy, his skype id is retailersupport. So for those of you that still don't understand my point, XLPHARMACY IS NOT AFFILIATED IN ANY WAY WITH BTSI. People please before you decide to throw comments do some research, to you it might look harmless, but you can really hurt a company that is HONEST. Before you invest "X" sum of money on a company you don't know, and over the internet i recommend you to get some feedback of the company, check what other people say about, don't throw your money. BTSI set you the best background, tells you how rich you are going to become with they're services, but like my grandma said: "the way to hells is painted very nice" I hope that this helps clarify the name of xlpharmacy, if this is not good enough for you call xlpharmacy, they have a toll free number and clear your doubts. If you still think that xlpharmacy is charging anyone money let me know and i will pay you back what xlpharmacy charged, show me a bank statement where it shows that xlpharmacy charged you or an invoice. Thanks for your time! John
