I got similar letter from BW Marketing Solutions Inc.which I believe is the same scam that has already been reported. It came with a check made payable to myself in the amount of $1,355.00 USD.
The letter stated that: I had been selected to participate in a paid Consumer Research Program. As a selected candidate I would be acting as a Customer Service Evaluator of the assigned companies in my area.
The letter also stated that BWM Customer Service is an employment firm that specializes in conducting research and assisting corporations in evaluating the quality of customer service provided to their clients.
BWM claims to represent over 1200 research firms across Europe and North America. The letter continues on about their research methods are well acclaimed and proven to be most efective in evaluating customer service.
That their successes are due to a method known as "Secret Shopping"
The letter states that upon receipt of this letter, I should call their office (# 1-289-888-2814) and talk to my Research Associate Tony. to be guided thru the " Probation Training Task" as well as receive instructions and to have some kind of security code removed from the check so it can be cashed.
Along the left side running down the letter is a list of so called sponsors logos.
PizzaHut-BestBuy-MoneyGram-McDonalds-Sears-Wal-Mart- Western Union-Lowe's-Wendy's-Costco-BurgerKing.
3/4 way down the letter is a chart that details the disbursement of the enclosed funds.
$200.00 Employee's Pay: Pay rate to inrease after completion of 1st assignment.
$50.00 Items purchased are for employee to keep Receipt required -WalMart
$50.00 Items purchased are for employee to keep Receipt required -JCPenney
$20.00 McDonalds or Wendy's are lunch bonus. No Receipt required
$950.00
+$85.00 Money gram Transfer Transfer referance number and recpt required

I have been burned by Internet and postal scams of all sorts.
As soon as I read this letter, I googled BW Marketing and my search brought me directly to Ripoff Report!
Since I received this letter thru the United States Postal Service, I will be turning this letter, it's enclosed contents and a copy of Ripoff Report on this company over to the USPS Postal Inspector for possible Postal Fraud.
I also will be conducting research on Canada's postal regulations regarding their postal laws against postal fraud.
Let this report be word to the wise: Research before you act. The best advice one can ever recieve is: If it sounds too good to be true, It's most likely NOT!
