Hello, I was ripped off at Hawthorne Race course in Ceicero Illinois 2 weeks ago on January 16th 2005. They were having a liquidation sale, and I bought 2 laptops by cash. They said that I would recieve an E-mail telling me when I would recieve my items. I paid $438 for them.I got an e-mail saying that I would get my items that week. It's been two-three weeks and I HAVE NOT recieved them YET. I called the number on the paper with the sate and city etc. When I called I kept getting this voice mailbox, saying that it was full.
So tonight I tried it again, and a girl answered.She said that she had bought this phone for her daughter,and everyone who had bought something from Hawthorne was calling her. She had a toatal of 18 people calling the exact same number that I was given to call, supposedly, it was supposed to be where I could track it. I was also SUPPOSED to recieve an E-mail with my tracking number, but I never recieved one. We all got ripped off. People all over the country went over to Hawthorne and purchased items but we never got them. The computers were on Mail-Order. This is the # for the person who was called by the 18 people: (972) 369-9978 thank you, Lisa Walker.
