Camping World Subpar unacceptable repairs while having trailer for 5 months Las Vegas Nevada
I bought a 2015 Salem trailer in March 2015. Was advised by the salesman Steve to take the trailer out for a weekend and report back with any repairs/problems. After taking the trailer out we reported back with a significant list of items that are wrong with the trailer. These problems were very serious including having to have the roof replaced, siding replaced, windows inoperable, to major repairs within the unit. Camping World has had our trailer for a total of 5 months and returned it with horrible repairs, repairs not completed, and damage to the trailer. We left the trailer again, after making 3 trips out there to the other side of town, worth a promise it would be completed this Thursday the 17th of September.
The manager, Jesse, said if he had to do the repairs himself he would make sure they were done correctly. Jesse gave us a $250 gift card for their store and said Forest River would reimburse us, he believes to be the amount of $750 to cover our monthly payments and insurance for the last few months. We attempted to upgrade to another trailer and they would not even work work us. They do not stand behind their product and Steve even told us they had stopped doing business with Forest River in the past and the only reason they still deal with them is due to their incentives they are offered. Here we sit 5 months later with no trailer and still paying monthly payments and insurance.
