Yes. After getting the camper home, it was taken to a local RV/ATV dealership. I had the frame, breaks and electrical system inspected. There were no other surprises. Infact, apart from needing the new slide control and 3 peices of steel sideing, they also agreed that it had been very nicely repaired. But to your point, I agree. If there is ever a next time, i will ask them to sign an agreement saying that they will not, nor let anyone else unbolt and remove property from my camper while it is being stored on their lot. thank you for the advice. This camper trailer was "hail damaged and fell over on its side," and you are surprised that there were bent screws and other signs of damage? Did you bother to have the frame inspected for internal problems that may not be visible to the eye? Also -- was the stereo and propane tanks and whatever else you're whining about specifically included in your contract to purchase the trailer? When making such a large purchase you can NEVER go by what someone "tells" you .. you MUST get it in writing!!

If Pat doesn't have an office, we wont argue about that. The pictures posted by Canada 1 RV's look to be the same as the ones shown to us by Lance from his cell phone. Lisa ,myself, and Newman all viewed them. Infact, we all believed that Canada 1 RV's did a nice job repairing it. WHAT we bought, or the condition it was is not my argument at all. So lets please stay on topic and leave the "beer income" insults with the children where they belong. This is a matter of theft. Nothing more, no less. Lisa and myself met Lance Cornish and Bev Brucki in both their offices, shook hands and talked for over an hour. To say I haven't been there or met these people is just one more lie. The fact is, if you purchase anything from this dealer ship, take it when you leave. UNtrustworthy, is an understatement to describe them. In mine and Lisa's 13 years together, this is the worst purchaseing experience by far. Not because we bought something we didn't like, but because of the unbelievable and awfull treatment by the owners and employees of Canada 1 RV's.

As the saying goes "There are two sides to every story." First of all, let's get some of the facts out of the way. The author of the article has never been to or met any employee's of Canada One. The actual owner Lisa Maxwell and her brother in law Newman Conti are the only people Canada One RV has dealt with. The travel trailer mentioned is a 2007 Springdale Limited 285RLS not a 31 foot but we all like to tell people things are a little bigger and better than they really are. The trailer Lisa Maxwell bought was involved in a tornado and was thrown onto its side causing severe damage. On top of that, it was damaged in a hail storm. It was orginally priced at $19,999 with the MSRP being $31,700. All that could be repaired was completed to our best abilities but with the remaining issues the price was reduced to $10,000 with no warranty and sold as is. This is an instance of a Beer income family expecting Champagne. The trailer did not have a radio in it when Lisa Maxwell was looking at it and was advertised AND sold "AS IS". Pat does not have an office - did not have a stereo anywhere for safekeeping - and if he produced one it would have been taken from our inventory without authorization. On an "AS IS" sale such as this, that would not have been done. Newman Conti, a customer of Canada One RV with no complaints on his purchased unit, was at Canada One on several occasions to view this Springdale Limited for his sister in law. Canada One RV told Newman it would be placed on hold for them with no deposit because he was an existing customer. Lisa Maxwell came down to view the trailer and finalize the transaction as Newman Conti had said. Lisa Maxwell wanted it based on the pictures she had seen and the price quoted and in spite of the lack of warranty and the trailer having been flipped in a toronado and damaged by hail. Transaction was completed with Bill of Sale stating "AS IS, NO PDI, NO WARRANTY." On delivery day a Possession Disclosure was drafted by Canada One and signed by Lisa Maxwell and their salesman with no indication of any of the problems mentioned in this blog. A direct quote of the first line of Possession Disclosure states "I acknowledge that Canada One has fulfilled their obligation to me as agreed at time of purchase. I also acknowledge that there is no warranty expressed or implied unless otherwise stated below." Lisa Maxwell signed this document on the date of delivery with no hesitation. Anyone who would like to see what this tornado damaged trailer looks like please look at this link: http://www.canadaonerv.com/product.php?txtCatID=0&txtProdID=387 Canada One RV is an extremely busy RV dealership selling an estimated 500 and 600 units per year.
