Consumer Choice Consumer Credit a $39 Ripoff Lesson
I have been taken by this company by thinking that I was applying for a Visa and sending a processing fee. Which they electronically submitted.
I have called the 1-800-790-6195 number provided by my bank, for that is what they used as an identity in submitting the check eletronically.
They only thing that comes on is an answering machine stating time of business.
Funny, that answering machine comes on all day, if not, they keep you on hold forever. In the meantime I've had to close the account, call the 1-800 numbers to all the national credit bureaus telling them & having them send me the necessary forms to fill about someone possibly trying to apply for a credit card of anykind under my name & address.
AND having to go through the embarrassment of being taken. It's a $39.00 lesson learned the hard way. No one likes being taken advantaged of, but we must all remember, these things are all taken down somewhere. Justice will someday prevail.
