CAPITAL FINANCIAL CAPFIN ripoff I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE IT'S NOT RIGHT THIS MUST BE STOPPED!!! LARGO Florida
I was contacted by this company on my cell phone. Like the other person reported, I was told that they were contacted by a company that was not able to offer me credit and they would be able to offer me a chance to rebuild my credit through this card by reporting to my credit report every 30days instead of annually like other creditors. I gave my information and then hesitated and told her to forget it, because she FINALLY mentioned that this was a card where I needed to purchase items from there company. That was not the type of credit card I was interested in. Next thing I knew, the supervisor or manager came on the phone. I told him why I was no longer interested. He told me I was under no obligation, I COULDN'T LOSE ANYTHING, it would help my credit, and there would be no penalty for cancelling at anytime. I figured it wouldn't hurt and I would be able to get my money back.
I hadn't received anyhing in the mail after 2 week, so I tried to call the 888# given to me and what appeared on my $200 ACH withdrawal. I went online to find more information on the company, but instead saw this report on the same company with the same phone # I had. I couldn't believe. I thank God I saw this before a 2nd transaction tool place, and that I have a credit union that will research and the $200 ACH withdrawal. I pray that this will stop before anyone else or too many people are taken advantage of. That is why I am posting this report.
