I post a truck for sale in oklahoma on craigs list the next day a manhatin number txt wanting to know if i still have ,if so please email me at [email protected]. I remember thinking thats kinda wierd why not ask me to txt back. I didn/t get to text tell almost two hours later but I sent a email and txt saying yes it is. Now a hour and half later I get a text from another NY number. It said Hellow is your 2006 Dodge Ram diesal still avalible? so I reply yes it is. He replys I was looking at your ad online for it. I really want to buy do you have any info rn on it from the past? I reply that I had purchased three yrs ago and did the car fax it had minor damage in front collision in2008 you cant se any damage now and that it stated that the airbags did not deploy and looked like they had to replace the bumper cover. that the truck drives great and has never gave me a issue. He replies will you please run on (http:\\every.vehiclereporting.me) and then send to my email. So I looked up the web site it is a deal to pay 13 bucks and you get a report on the car. upon checking them out it is a scam and they send you nothing (per a bunch of people who did it online) all after someone replied to craigslist ad.So i told him it cost money and I dont use my cards online unless it is a secure site and the I gave him vin so he can run it if he feels he needs to. Then he replies my email is [email protected] once I recieve it i would like to come see it this weekend. I txt back I looked the site up and do not belive it is secure and never heard of it. I sent you the VIN so you can look it up yur self I am sure you will be pleased with the results, just give me a shout when you want to drive it. He replied sounds perfect thanks. And I never heard from them again. So i look the numbers up that they txt from found that both was from NY. Then I called both numbers and they wasn't real it said they had been disconected . I believe these people just surf craigslist all over the U.S. pretending to be interested but just getting people to pay into there scam. I can't say 100% that they don't give you a report as I would spend $13 and take a chance that they would still my info. But if you look them up online I think a lot of people have been scamed. I hope this will stop a few people from getting the shaft.
