We bought a 2004 Mazda MPV from Carmax 2 years ago and have had nothing but problems with the car. Thank GOD we bought the extended warranty. It has been to the Mazda dealership at least 8-9 times for repairs and to Carmax for repairs at least 5 times.

Their 125 point inspection is a JOKE. They sold me the car and it had a cracked steering shaft with aftermarket parts so Mazda wouldn't touch it. How did they miss that in their 125 point inspection?

Once we started having problems with the car I did a carfax report on the car and it turns out they bought it at a car auction and it was a stolen car. It is now their policy I have been told not to sell stolen cars but I guess I bought this one before that policy came into place?

This whole thing has been such a nightmare. They sold me a lemon and I am very MAD. I drive around my toddler and other child in this car and I don't feel safe at all. I paid $20,000 for this car and now I am stuch with it. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I hope someone starts a class action lawsuit because I would love to be apart of it. I have reported them to the BBB and I have called Corporate. My next step in the NEWS/Media.

They are such a shady company and should be out of business. I don't know how they sleep at night.

Sorry to hear of your issues. So a question first...Mazda refused to repair the damage because it wasnt Mazda parts so am I to understand its still damaged and noone will fix it? Also, you need to find out the status of that title. If that title is other than "clear" I think you have an actionable case against them. Alot of time "stolen" cars that have been recovered could have salvage titles or some other blemish on them. If you own the vehicle outright it should be stated on the title if not owned by you not sure how you would research it. If the car has other than a clear title I hate to tell you but it value could be minimal at trade-in.
