from each of the big-three credit agencies, so request one report every 4 months from each of the "big three" in rotation. Also "I THINK" if you are "rejected" you also get a free credit report and letter telling you who rejected you and why. Look to see if your idiot tire-free-car-salesman actually did anything. You cannot be "rejected" if you never applied ("applied" here meaning you never supplied them with any personal info for any reason). Besides, why did you ever call them in the first place? There seems to be many tales of woe here from people who got involved with easy-loan deals, payday loan deals, and so on, and they all just got deeper and deeper into a financial hole.
