The end of July 2009, i snet 13 gold rings, all new and a number of silver items, to CASH FOR GOLD USA. They advertise that you will have a cheque within 72 hours. I waite over three weeks, only to receive a cheque for $57.88 and the return of the silver items, even though they said they bought silver as well as gold.

I contacted the company upon reciept of the cheque and told them that they must be joking. This was not an acceptable amount. They offered to up the amount by an additional $50.00. I said that was still not acceptable and to please return my gold rings.

I waited another three weeks, and lo and behold what do i get in the mail? but the cheque for $57.88. I phoned the company again and asked what they thought they were doing. I was expecting my gold rings back not the return of their cheque. Again they offered me an additional $50.00. Again I declined and made them a counter offer which they  declined, We agreed then that i would once again return the cheque and they would return my gold rings.

It is now October 2009, and i still have not received my rings back. I  honestly don't believe i will ever see them again. I don't believe they had any inetention of returning them to me in the first place. They have probably been melted down by  now which would make it impossible for them to return them to me.  what i sent to them is as follows, - 1-w/gold amethyst, 3-y/gold ruby, 1-w/gold emerald, 1-y/gold green periodot, 1-y/gold citron. 1-y/gold opal, 1-y/gold topaz,  1-w/gold gemstone w/diamonds, 1-y/gold blue opal, all  but the ruby's and opals had diamonds on either side of main stone. The retail value of these rings was around $1,000.00. I paid around $650.00 for them not including shipping and handling costs.

All i want from CASH FOR GOLD USA is either my rings back, or a fair payment for them, not $57.88. I should have known that their advertisement was too good  to be true, but I fell for it anyway and am now paying the price.

I don't think companies like this should be allowed to stay in business. They take advantage of people by   making big promises that they have no intention of keeping. In these tight economical times more people are trying to make an extra dollar any way they can and if it mens selling off some of their jewellery so be it, but don't take them for a ride and rip them off. It's no way to do business.

What can i do to rectify this and bring it to a closure that satisfies all?

CASH FOR GOLD USA, HAS SENT ME CHEQUE FOR THE AGREED UPON AMOUNT, I HAVE DEPOSITED THIS TO MY BANK ACCOUNT AND IT HAS NOT COME BACK SO FAR. SO I AM SATISFIED THAT THIS CASE IS NOW CLOSED AND I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH A COMPANYOF THIS TYOE OVER THE INTERNET OR THE PHONE EVER AGAIN. MY TRUST METER FOR THE HONESTY OF THESE TYPES OF COMPANIES NOW STANDS AT ZERO.

On Friday Oc. 23/09, I received  from Goldforcashusa, the original cheque for $57.88. The same cheque I returned to them by registered mail Aug. 31/09 and again two weeks later.  I immediatley returned the cheque to them the same day I received it.

Each day I send them another email advising them of the amount they owe me with interest and service charge added for the day before.

They advised their legal dept. that they had offered me an additional $107.44, when I asked them in additona to what they had no answer. They have accused me of sending nasty threatening emails to them, of which I send them a fexed copy each day as well. Not one email I have sent has been nast or threatening.

In their letter to their legal dept. they made numerous false statements, which I advised their legal dept. of and gave them the correct information. Their legal department has, as of yet, to contact me, but I send a copy of all emails to them .

I will continue my campaign against them on a daily basis, and would appreciate anyone experiencing the same thing with this particular company if they would do the same. This company also goes by the name C.J. Environmental Inc.,  www.cjenvironmental.com, they are located in Sharon, Ma, and Arizona, and their telephone number is 1-866-784-2238, fax 781-784-0873. The also go under the names www.cashfordentalscrap.cpom and www.cashfordiamonds.com.

I am sure there are more compnay names I have not as unearthed. Anyone willing to take part in this campaign can contact me at (((Redacted)))

I followed the Ripoff Report Handbook and emailed the company, Cash For GoldUSA two days in a row. I stated only true facts in the emails, quoted dates, tracking numbbers, wholesale value of gold, cost of postage, time spent sending emails, and making phone calls, interest on money outstanding and an amount for nervous stress caused by all of this. I did not use threats or profanity. I advised them that I had contacted the police in Sharon Ma., the BBB, the local Sharon newspaper and reported all of it to Ripoff Reports. I gave them a total amount of what I feel they owe me, which included the cost of gold and all pertinent expenses. I also advised them that I had posted the whole thing on Faceook for all Facebook members to read. As well I advised them that i would send them another emial tomorrow, which I did.

Today, Oct. 21/09 I received an email from C J Enterprises with a copy sent to their legal department., stating that they had sent me four tracking numbers to ship my gold to them, when they only sent me two. they said I was sending them nasty threatening emails, they lied about the dates, the mode of communication. They said I had emailed them when I received the initial cheque when I had phoned them to advise them that I was not satisfied. They advised me to send the cheque back certified mail. We do not have certified mail in Canada so I sent it registered mail whichis basically the same thing. They stated that I did not send the cheque back as directed and that I took too long. The fact that they returned the cheque to me rather then the gold they did not mention. They have offered to up the amount they will pay to $109.88. That is a far cry from the $650.00 plus that I say they owe me and I will not settle for a pa;try $109.00.

The retail valueof the gold I sent them was close to a $1,000.00 so they are making one heck of a profit off of me. Or at least they are trying.

I will continue to send them emails every day and will start faxing them as well. I advised them that I was within my constitutional rights to do this and that I was going to update all of this to Ripoff Reports as well. I have sent a email in response to theirs to their legal department along with the first one I sent to the legal department which listed each ring, description, stones on each and price I paid. I also advised them that I have all the receipts for postage, dates of phone calls, dates of mailings, purchase invoices and amount of my time spent on this,

I will await their response. But in the meantime I will continue my campaign until they settle this to my satisfaction.
