Caswell Resources Personal loan Ripoff New York New York
I was contacted by Ashley Porter w/Caswell Resources and told that i was approved for a $5000 personal loan. I faxed her my personal information(pay stubs, copy of DL, proof of residency etc) and then she faxed me back the contract which looked legit so i signed it and faxed it back to her. I then called her and she stated that i needed to send $942.60 via Western Union to a MR. Steven Salibi in Ontario, Canada for a insurance deposit to secure the loan which would be direct deposited into my checking account within 24-48 hrs.
So i wired the money that Thursday and the following Monday i called Ashley to inform her that the money was not there and she then informed me that the lender changed it's mind and would send me the check via courier for an additional fee of $700.00. I told her that i would not send anymore money and that i wanted a refund and she stated it would take 15-30 days and as of today 11-1-07 i still have not received anything.
