Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Well, I got my card today with a $6,500.00 credit limit. My first impulse was to wonder who is selling my info. But I give all my mail (yes, even my junk mail) due consideration, so I read on. Well, this card is offering to me this kind of unsecured credit and is advertising no interest rate. Hmmmm....... There is no collateral required. They were willing to offset their standard membership fee of $200.00 by giving me a $200.00 credit on my first purchase of over $300.00. Then they'll give me a $100.00 credit to offset my $99.00 annual fee. So right off I am allowing for $299.00 in fees before even gaining information regarding the product. And no internet site, no e-mail address, and I don't get any information until after I agree? Come on, people, how can I pass up an offer like this? Doh! I then came to this site for verification and it appears the proof is in the pudding. I will not sit back and say that it's a scam; if it was, the BBB should have taken care of this already. I will say, however, that a legitimate business does not need to deal with subterfuge, commit its customers to an agreement before even telling them about its services, or require the SSN/checking account number before the customer has even so much as a piece of paper telling him or her the details of what they are entering into. And a legitimate business does not subject its customers to the waiting periods being reported in these posts. While I know what's required of me by my introductory letter, I have no idea what it is they sell, where or who the catalogs come from, or what responsibilities they carry, and if you can't include that in your letter, why should I believe what I'm told over the phone? Sorry, but businesses that are ethical do not carry themselves in this matter. And ethical companies do not respond in the way the company reps have to these posts. Thanks, CCA, but no thanks. To the consumer, caveat emptor!!!! David Dracut, Massachusetts
