Do not do business with this guy who has several aliases and operates as an agent for CCV PROPERTIES in several cities but currently is in Miami. After searching for a house to rent in Jensen Beach, FL. In Sept., 2016 we came across a house on Hutchinson Island in the Nettles Island resort. Gomez represented himself as the real estate agent and after attempting to verify the property was real and even talking to the resort office which seemed to confirm he had several properties, we entered into a rental agreement and wired him $1,325 for half the month rental. The first sign that there might be a scam was that Gomez insisted that the deposit was wired to his Wells Fargo account which wasn't a CCV PROPERTIES company account. We remained in contact off and on attempting to establish rapport and confirm that the property was legitimate. A week prior to departing, Gomez contacted us to request the final payment prior to,arrival which is not unusual. We left via car to Florida and while in N. Carolina Gomez called to,say the property was sold and the new owners would not honor the rental aggreement but he would find another house. This really was suspicious especially in March during high season and because we needed a pet friendly house. After arriving in St. Augustine for another layover, Gomez said after several tries he couldn't find anything acceptable but had returned our monies via check to our residence even providing a purported copy of the post office receipt. We insisted he wore the funds as we were not at home and needed the funds to pay for alternate lodging. He said he would but it would take another couple of days. In the meantime, we again contacted Nettles Island this time discovering the property had never been for sale or sold and the owners only used a different Realtor when they rented it. Clearly with this info it was obvious we were scammed. We have sinceccontacted the Florida Attorney General's office as well as file a report with the Miami police department. Apparently Gomez has done this in the past in the Orlando and a separate report on this site describes the horrible circumstances surrounding his other criminal scams.
