Celadon Recruiter lied.. but also DM lied.. alot Indianapolis, Indiana
All you people talking how Celadon puts the screws to us, you are so correct.
All you people defending Celadon, you are either one of the following.
A) sucking on your knees when you are in indy
B)Very Niave
C)Very STUPID
How do you think Celadon has gotten so big in just 25 years, and has a Canadian Company, as well as Jaguar in Mexico. Has all this brand new equipment, just purchased 7500 BRAND NEW TRAILERS and has NO loan from ANY bank. Because Celadon makes a HUGE profit off its drivers being underpaid.
Steve Russel should be ASHAMED of himself and given the oppurtunity I will tell him so to his face. I am STILL EMPLOYED with Celadon, for a few more weeks.... kudos to you all speaking the truth about the negatives of this company, and to you all acting like this company is all that.. I just have one question to proove your liars and paid to post what you posted...:
"How can you survive on such a SMALL payscale. For those of you who posted saying you had a spouse, you were DEF liars.".

CELADON IS NOT A COMPANY FOR ANY DRIVER WITH A SPOUSE OR FAMILY. IF A MORTGUAGE OR CAR PAYMENT.. DO NOT EVEN COME TO THIS COMPANY.
CELADON IS SUITED FOR SINGLE DRIVERS WITH NO FAMILY NO HOUSE NO BILLS AND NO KIDS. THATS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE IT WITH CELADON.

First off I do not work for this company, but you say the people that are defending them are stipid. first of all who accepted the job at those low wages (YOU DID) SO WHO IS STUPID!!!!!!!!! You say you are still working there WHY? Because you must be STUPID!!!!!!!!!
It seems your problem is you are not happy with your pay, this is no ripoff or scam. You say you could make more money at mcdonalds, so quit your job and go work there insteadof staying at this bad company.
So the moral of your story is You do not like the wages (for a job you accepted) at a certain rateof pay, that you (let me assume) knew the rate of pay before you accepted the job. Now your pissed. SO it is a bad company. Your also dont like the hours in which you have to work, so again it is a bad company.
Who cares what the company bought for cash, what does that have to do with anything. The people employed at this company accepted a job at a certain rate of pay, probably ( again I assume) knowing the different hours they have to work.
If you did not like the rate of pay or the hours you would have to work, then dont accept their offer and seek employment elsewhere.
