Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On Saturday, March 29, 2008 we started by going to Central Kia of Plano. We found a used 2008 Kia Sedona and asked the salesman to talk price. We were immediately told they had to run our credit to see what they could offer us. We told them we did not want our credit run we wanted to talk price first. They said they could not help us and pressured us to run our credit. We eventually gave in and our credit was run. We were approved from a bank.

After about an hour and half of back and forth and never knowing the price of the vehicle itself just a monthly payment we told them we wanted to consider using an Air Check Texas voucher towards the purchase. They first said the state was out of money so I could not possibly have a voucher. Then when we pulled out the official voucher they said we can not do business. We left there angry and upset. So we went to Central Kia of Lewisville.

We arrived at Central Kia of Lewisville Saturday evening. We found another used 2008 Sedona. We found a salesman and again wanted to talk price We started by asking to negotiate the price of the car. We also informed him of our situation from the Plano location and that we were approved through a certain lender.

We waited for over an hour just to negotiate price and then were sent home because there was a fight in the finance department and they had to fire someone. There was no one there to do financing; however, all I wanted was to negotiate the price of the vehicle first.

We came back on Sunday, March 30, 2008. We had to meet with a different salesman and start all over again. I did my research and knew what I wanted to pay and start negotiations. Again, they only came back with monthly payments not the price of the car. I wanted to pay $17,500, they countered with $18,990. I offered $18,000 thats where the negotiations stopped and we met with Will in finance.

Again never seeing the price of the car, but thinking we are getting $18,000 and our payments were where we wanted them we finalized the deal. They accepted our Air Check Texas voucher and my car. We do have bad credit but were told we had been approved through a bank. We went to Will's office and I signed forms (that were blank). Stupid on my part, I admit that. Then he stuck them in the printer and put them in the folder. We signed over our title to our car, gave them our keys they gave us the keys to the used/new 2008 Sedona. Will reminded me that if the bank called me to remember to tell them I put $2000.00 down in addition to my trade. I never put a dime down. He took us up front a salesman handed us the keys and we were on our way home with our new/used car.

After we got home, and the excitement wore down some we realized we didn't have any paperwork. When I called Will the next day he said that he was trying to get a better deal from another bank. We expressed our concern about not knowing what was on the paperwork and actual prices of the vehicle. He said they were still working on deals and it would be a few days.

Today, April 1, 2008 my husband called and demanded that we at least get a copy of the paperwork. We drove to the location and waited for an hour yet again for what we thought was paperwork. We had to meet with yet a different finance person. When we were shown the contract, somehow the price of the car somehow jumped to $20,900. Do the math we were expecting $18,000 - $3,000 voucher=$15,000 plus ttl appx $17,000 to be financed.

When we questioned the price he left for about 30 minutes and came back and said that the bank backed out of the deal and that they would have to take the van back and would give me my car back. I was taken back, angry, embarrassed, I felt used, raped, lied to I could go on. Here I had this van for 3 days thinking it was mine. I paid $168 for insurance, filled up the gas, told all my family and friends and now it is GONE!

We would have been totally content with keeping our original car and waiting to know for sure that we were approved had we known that this was going to happen. They told me the van was ours but they were just hoping to get a better deal from another bank. I signed a contract. What gets me is that they can back out of a contract and shred it but if I were to back out I would be sued and have more bad credit.

This place should be shut down! We will fight this.
