On Dec. 2 Chaparral Electronics picked up my tv, a 46" Samsung HDTV, which by the way they used a beat-up dirty U-Haul truck. I was told I would have my tv back in 2 weeks. I got one telephone call saying the "Board" went out in my tv and the part was ordered. That was before christmas. Weeks went by and I never heard anything else from them. I tried time upon time to reach them to find out why and what was going on with the repairs on my tv. They would never answer their phones nor would they answer my emails. I have kept the emails to prove it.

I wrote an email to Best Buy Customer Service and told them what was happening because they are the ones that sent me to Chaparral Electronics. Best Buy called and said they had numerous bad reports on this company and they would try to resolve it. After several calls from me to Best Buy and Best Buy to Chaparral, I received a telephone call saying my tv was being delivered. It took Chaparral 9 weeks to get my tv repaired and delivered. Again, delivered by two guys and neither one knew how to connect the tv. When it was finally connected there was no sound output on the analog stations. The delivery guy said it is your cable because you haven't used it in a while. I looked at him like he was crazy and told him it's not my cable. I have had a tv hooked up in here since they picked up my Samsung. So, he called the owner. The owner wanted him to bring the tv back into the shop.

After they had my tv for 9 weeks I said absolutely not. They could send out a technician and repair my tv properly and I was not going to pay the bill until it was repaired. The owner got pretty mad because I wouldn't pay the bill. I have not heard back from Chaparral as yet.

Well, after the delivery guys left, I turned my tv on and all of the analog stations were green colored with lines. By the afternoon the analog stations didn't work at all. All I have is a dark screen. The HD channels are working but they now have a background of green dots. It's like looking through a screen with holes and green dots. This was happening before I called Chaparral the first time.

I am not a television repairman, I'm not an electrician, but I do know my tv was not repaired properly and I am not going to pay these rip-off people the $391 they say I owe them.

If you read this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find someone else to repair your tv. This company is awful and I pity anyone that is using them.
