Charette Brothers Moving,Charette Brothers Refrigeration & Trucking kept 3/4 of my furniture. the 1/3 delivered was damaged and they tryed to collect for the delivery. Syracuse New York
I was moving out of NY state. I contracted Charette Brothers. Trucks say Moving. invoices say refrigeration and trucking. Should be a clue. Agreement was they would store my furniture in a climate controlled storage area ( It is Oct.)Until I give them a moving date. I had labeled all boxes which were all the same size so they pack well.Another clue, Owner said there would be no charge for storage. We agreed on a price for delivery, date pending.
When my furniture got to me on a Sat. I knew lots was missing. Of coarse movers know nothing! I went through what little bit was there and wrote all items I could remember that were missing.Bins were broken and real dirty. Looked like they had been stored outside in mud etc.
A guitar case was ruined along with broken microwave. furniture was gouged and legs broken off etc. Called the owner of the company on Mon. He said in this voice which anybody would know was a fake. What happened? He had no explanation, Did not say he would deliver the rest. NOTHING! I know either he or movers or both went through all my nicely labeled boxes and took what they wanted to use (lots of pasta sauce-olive-oil, natural peanut butter. things I had bought on sale) they could eat. Other stuff I am sure they either used or sold.
Right after I had contracted them to do the job I spoke with a new neighbor which said she used them and she was having problems with what they had done and they were doing nothing about. At least she was in the same area and could fight them. I am in another state. Not much recorse. My advice is NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS with Charette Brothers. They will rip you of for sure!

Charette Brothers had a bad egg in the company.. Snce then, we have gotten rid of him, but were forced to start a new company of our own. If you were unhappy you will be happy to know that the problem has ceased and we now are just a zip code away.
