Unfortunately, your agreement would have needed to be in writing for it to be enforced. However there are a couple of things you can do. One is to contact the insurance company and file a claim. if you did that already and sent out a check, tell them you never cashed it. The will start a fraud investigation. You could also go to small claims court, however you will be limited on what you can get back. The burden of proof will be on you and it won't be easy. Good luck!

forgot to add the amount they owe me for the back taxes I paid.It is in the amount of about $5000.00,including house insurance, lights, water, sewer, heat, repairs and money to the Mediciad as she turned the injury I recived in the home while living there, Mediciad paid the bill and she kept the money. I have the cancled checks and the taxes bills I paid. Thank-you
