Among those individuals was this person Allison who gave a great first impression, I explained my personality and what I expected from her to help me. She assured me she could do it all and not to worry. I had set up 2 more phone meeting with Allison upon hiring her. In the beginning she was very tentative and I knew with it being so early on not to throw too many questions at her too much nor expect too much off the bat. Though this continued to be her behavior leading to her then not answering the phone nor returning calls, etc. She asked me to only email her not call her-though I had hired her as a Full Service Wedding Planner. I professionally and respectfully voiced my concerns to her and did so also by asking questions and also asking her what is the next step, how do we proceed. She would say one step at a time, we are on the right track don't get ahead of yourself. Things continued to go this way and every time I would come into town she was always too busy to meet because she had this or that or another Wedding, just like always too busy to even do anything pertaining to my wedding.
Clearly I feel she over books herself because she's wanting the high volume and compensation that goes along with it, and puts you off till the last minute, but if I wanted a Day of Coordinator that's what I would have hired her for. I feel she has taken money from me, and not provided services I thought I paid for. I want this to be known so that no one else gets taken advantage of like I have, nor treated like just another number especially when this is resulting in your Wedding day.
