chase chrysler plymouth stockton california sold van double it's value ripping consumers off
hello I purchased a 1998 plymouth voyager van in 2000 from Chase Chrysler Plymouth in stockton ca at stockton auto mall, 2099567600. I went to this particular dealership because they said they could work around my credit. I apparently was approved for 15000+ and I had a down payment of $2100. I was looking for a van and they were showing me everything but a van. They finally found a used van basic model with 4wheels, air conditioner and radio, 7 passenger. I paid the 15000+ for the vehicle. Later go on the internet for the Kelly Blue Book found that the van was only worth $7999. So this dealership charged me double the value and now that I want out of this deal. No one can offer me a deal because I have negative equity now of $7000. I owe $13151 and the van now on Kelly Blue Book is $5000. I feel this is not ok, someone needs to do something about people riping off consumers who go in not knowing these facts. Suffer all the while these wheelers and dealers make all the profits. Please help.
