After being conned by the guy (Jacob) on the phone; I like others was convinced to pay for a website package which was made to my needs i.e a custom design but its actually a template.
My website was not bespoke or custom it was a cheap nasty template they bought for $40 and charged me over £400 – a rip off! They do not design you a website.
They go on to www.themeforest.com and websites like this and buy a cheap template for $40 then customise it for you, making out that they are doing something for the money, anyone can do that and for a lot cheaper!
You can also prove this as they will only show you a screen shot of the draft and when you want changes there is a limit to what they can do! Where as real web designers will create a draft - they won’t send you a screen shot – see for yourself.
When they send you a draft, they just take an image from the above website and tell you they have come up with a draft, when really they have just copied an image. Its a total disgrace and a con, they are not even real web designers.
The owner is a one man band from Surrey, he hires a mail box. You can prove this by asking for a meeting with one of the many web designer and they will come up with some garbage about they can’t do this as they are so busy or its not cost effective. Ask to meet all the web designers at once! Its a joke and they should be ashamed.
Don’t get ripped off and take it from me, don’t be fooled by this supposedly big company. They have two websites www.cheapwebdesign.co.uk and www.cheapwebdesign.com - they have fake reviews on their website. I was tricked into leaving a fake review for free hosting and free SEO with discount.
I was ripped of by these clowns, like the many others online, seriously don’t be fooled, save your money and get some real designers to do the job.
