Chevrolet, Vanover, General Motors ripoff My tranny just went in my 1999 silverado and they won't fix it Now its going to cost me 1800.00 abused & mistreated Port Huron Michigan
i leased my silverado brand new for 4-years well guess what after the warranty of 36-or 3years the fuel pump went cost me 500.00 and now the tranny went cost me 1800.00 these new trucks cost 31000.00 plus tax and they won't even last or gm.won't help pay for nothing my truck has only 43000 miles i'm very frustrated with chevy and don't know what to do if anyone can help please do so .

First of all your vehicle was purchased or leased from Carl Thompson Chevrolet. I am the new owner as of 3/25/02 (Vanover Chevrolet). I don't know what type of problems you have had with your vehicle or what has been told to you. If you would like to bring your vehicle in and see my service manager Chris Schultz) he will be able to see if there is anything we can do for you. If you had defective parts in your transmission and it was still covered under factory warranty GM would have repaired your vehicle under the manufactures warranty. You are claiming that you have been abused and mistreated and I don't even know if you have been into the dealership since I haved owned it. Please contact me if I can try to help you. Thanks,

well now you know better than to buy a chevy..they suck. plus you bought it new that means you were offered an extended warrenty and didn't buy it.
