Complaint Review: Chicago Permanent Makeup Lana Schluter - Chicago Illinois

First, upon making my initial appointment, before she even knew how I wanted my eyebrows she informed me that eyebrow tattooing takes her between 4-8 hours depending on what I want.  So, all this nonsense about my eyebrows were sooooo difficult and took all this extra time and eyesight is more B.S.  As she stated it took her 7 hours to do my eyebrows and if you go to her website she gives the same timeframe for every client.  Second, I WOULD NEVER, being a working single woman, whose time and money means a lot, pay someone money upfront for a service and then do a no call no show.  I am in my mid 30's and run my life on a schedule so her statement about me canceling last minute and her rescheduling me four times is simply a lie.  I contacted her a week before letting her know I had a schedule change with my job and she said she is all booked up and it would cost me another $400 to reschedule, simple as that!  I am very much into cosmetic procedures, I do botox, juvederm, facials, laser treatments, meso-therapy, breast implants, gluteal implants, veneers, you name it.  So, when it comes to making appointments for these treatments I take them very seriously because they are costly.  With ALL of the procedures I have listed I HAVE NEVER EVER had someone try and charge me double because I needed to reschedule, EVER!!!!  This is why I did the report.  If you'd like go ahead and reach out to some of her customers from two years back that are listed online and they will tell you her price was $400 no matter what type of arch you wanted.  I would love for Ms. Lana to provide these so called messages that she supposedly has between the two of us.  As a matter of fact this website allows you to upload pictures so please Ms. Lana take a screen shot of these "messages" you have between us and post them, no ones stopping you but you can't because you and I both know you are lying!  I have friends who have beautiful eyebrows and paid $200-$250 for them.  However, I am not stopping anyone from paying you $1500.  If they feel as though your work is that good to pay that much by all means go ahead.  I however do not believe that, which is why I did not get them done by you the second time.  Third, when leaving a review this website like many others give you the option to remain annymous and create a screen name instead of using your own name for privacy purposses however, this is just another indicator of Ms. Lana's unprofessionalism and lack of concern for her clients, that she would put my real name in her rebuttal. With that being said if anyone would like to contact me personally in regards to my experience with her or have further questions feel free to reach out since she has chosen to disclose my personal information anyway.

 Believe it or not the above review is the BEST COMPLIMENT any business can ever get! Please let me point out that this client was NEVER ripped off! She did not pay a extra penny for her past of future appointments . She got angry because I refused to do her eyebrows. The high price was just a deterrent. I made a huge mistake of trying to be diplomatic, I should have just said "NO!".The truth is obvious - no other permanent makeup place, no matter how cheap or expensive they are, will ever be able to do her eyebrows like I did. She knows it very well and that is why she spent hours writing bad reviews on me all over the internet today under fake names . Milah if you can get the same work done anywhere else for $200 then why didn't you do it?? Why are you so upset that your will not be done by me?  I always do my best to provide the best customer service, to treat everyone with respect and dignity, to never rush any of my clients out the door, to never accept the job if the person is not in good health or if they are trying to make themselves look bad. I don't like to say "no " to people and I will always do everything in my power to make my clients look their best regardless of how long or how much work it will require. The work I do is unique. It is not the same permanent makeup you can get anywhere else regardless of how much those places charge.  My services are highly customised to an individual client's needs and their unique style.  I don't just do permanent makeup  for the sake of giving people back their eyebrows. I correct people's faces!  I was born with a very unique gift - I can change person's face by simply changing the shape and location of their eyebrows. By simply changing their eyebrows I can make someone's nose look smaller, thinner or straighter, make their eyes appear closer or further apart and their eyes shape  look rounder or more almond shaped. I can make someone's face look rounder or longer and  10 to 20 years younger. I can correct person's facial asymmetry better than any plastic surgeon, just by changing the location and shape of their eyebrows. I am ambidextrous and do all my work   by using both hands equally well. I have 1000s of satisfied customers whose faces I have transformed in the matter of one day.   Unlike all the other permanent makeup technicians who book 1 hour to 1.5  hours to their clients's eyebrows   I spend an average of 5 to 8 hours with every client during their first eyebrows tattoo session and 4 to 5 hours during their second follow-up session that must be complete in  30 days to 6 months after their initial appointment. Unlike most permanent makeup  technicians who use a tattoo gun that takes 30 minutes to do tattoo  eyebrows I use a manual Japanese tattooing technique that takes 2 to 4 hours to tattoo eyebrows  plus it takes another 2 hours to clean and disinfect the office and all the equipment,  The thicker and longer the eyebrows, the longer it takes to tattoo them. The above clients eyebrows are one of the longest, thickest and arciest eyebrows I ve ever done. They are very geometric and have a huge arch. Her first appointment took 7+  hours. During her appointment it took 4 hours to tattoo her eyebrows, which is extremely hard on my vision  to look into 10 x magnifying glasses for over 4 hours straight. Drawing the shape of her eyebrows and finding the right color took another 3 plus hours. Her second followup  appointment were supposed to be free, however, she never showed up for that appointment  never cancelled or rescheduled by you even though I called you the night before and you confirmed that you will be there, the next day you simply did not show up and when I called you to see if she was running late and  she told me that she forgot about her followup appointment.  In fact this client never kept any of your appointments- not 1st, not 2 nd not 3 rd not 4th.Some she cancelled on the same day of the appointment, some she never cancelled or showed up.  I have  record of all the conversations with this client and  I can easily prove that everything she wrote in here is simply not true.  Because I spend hours with each client I am extremely limited in how many clients procedures I can do per day. I can do no more than one client a day!!!  When I schedule someone for their 1 st eyebrows tattoo appointment I block 7 hours window for that client and then additional 2 hours to clean up after them. When I schedule someone for their  2nd eyebrows followup appointment I block 4 to 6 hours window for that client and then an additional 2 hours to clean up after them. When I schedule all day for one client every last minute cancelation is a killer to my ability to do business. The above client cost me thousands of dollars because of all the last minute cancellations she did. At some point 2 years ago I simply refused to reschedule her for any more appointments and frankly I was hoping that I will never hear from her again, since I can no longer risk her canceling any more of my appointments
