This show was so ridiculously bad I almost got up and left not even a quarter of the way through. I have quite a few complaints so I am going to list them so I can keep track:

1.) The show premise was just dumb. Chris Angel is an illusionist. He starts the show by giving the audience the impression that this is the type of show they will be seeing- however things take a drastic and stupid turn that for a little while leaves you wondering what the crap is going on- and not in a good way. Once you figure it out, expect to hear yourself uttering an annoyed sigh.

2.) The minimal amount of illusions that do pop up in the show are either amateurish or obvious. There were several points at which I could see the trap door that the person had just disappeared into. Oh and by the way: Someone disappearing into a trap door is not an illusion. It's a stage trick. There were no illusions in the show that took more than 3 seconds to figure out, and I know nothing about magic.

3.) The lame attempt at comedy relief was not funny. Ever. I didn't know anything about Chris Angel but at the end I really thought he was quite a d****e bag. Half of the skits had him sitting on the stage in a chair picking at his fingernails while other people did things that weren't funny or entertaining. Why was he even in this show??

4.) The very bright "magic tricks" were sometimes blinding. I seriously sat for 4 minutes after he set a bush on fire wondering if I would need to go to the hospital for partial blindness. And my seat was not very close.

5.) Speaking of that, the reason the awfulness of this show was particularly more offensive to me was because of the amount of money I spent on the ticket. I could have seen a movie and been more entertained. It could have been the worst movie at the box office right now and I still would have loved it compared to this show. I would have spent ten times less money.

6.) This is a cirque show and Chris Angel has singlehandedly lowered my opinion of Cirque for even being associated with it.

8.) Chris Angel acknowledges within the show that there are children in the audience at least 3 times and then proceeds to make sex jokes and act out dumb skits where his supposedly skinless body id ripped apart by giant rabbits. This sounds cool but A.) it was just stupid and B.) it was disturbing to know there were children in the audience being subjected to this. If you do go to this show, do not bring your kids.

Did I mention the show was dumb, not worth the money, with really bad tricks and stupid comedy and special effects that are hazardous to your eyes? Ok that's all then. If horrible shows entertain you, then please fork over 100 dollars or more, otherwise go see a different cirque show. This one is the absolute worst so you are easily going to have more fun anywhere else.

I have seen every Cirque show in vegas and the Chris Angel Believe show has to be the worst. Dont take my word for it, ask any cab driver Vegas and they will tell you the same. Speaking of shows that I have seen. The best show I have ever seen in Vegas is Le Reve at the Las Vegas Wynn.
