Brought a truck to allen samuels after engine seized. Chrysler refused to honor the warranty, stating that although they could not explain exactly what happened, they would not fix the truck, which at this point has been sitting at the dealerhip for 6 weeks, from October 2009 until December 2009. We were told that we could leave a message for the dealership manager, Tom Hervey, but he is "very busy and important so he might not call you back, but he might in a week".

 
The service department has not followed through on promises to call with information-it took a week for them to even look at the vehicle-because they only have one guy who can do it. The service manager, Don Fleming, accused us of lying and of falsifying information when we provided service records he had requested. the regional inspector, Dave Jones refused to give me the name of his supervisor so i could rebut his denial of the claim. They very sarcastically told me i could "call the president of chrsyler" but that no one would help me. {this is the number to the vp of quality and consumer affairs-Doug Betts's office 248-576-1079--his secretary is Carolyn and her email is "[email protected]"}. They were right in that no one would help me, but maybe if enough people contact Doug he will take notice.

dealership president Tom Hervey made manyl verbal promises which he failed to keep, as did the customer service representative. These include but are not limited ranged from providing follow up calls, giving us information and assistance, and calling us with various estimates.

We were treated in a very condescending manner at all times. The part they initially showed me as having failed was not the part they showed me the second time, although they identified it as such.

They did, however, offer to sell us a new truck.
