I just returned my Dodge Caravon to d**k Scott Dodge. The whole time I owned my van, the heat on the drivers side foot area never worked. I used to have to come home during the winter, and soak my feet in hot water to warm them up and stop the pain. I even wrote to the engineering department at Chrysler and they called me about the situation, claiming to fix it on future cars. This is problem #1

Problem #2 - I am 4'11' and not made to drive Chrysler cars. Their new back windows curve out and this makes it hard for me to see. Also, other than the van,not of the cars have adjustable pedals. Plus, I think their cars are ugly this year.

Problem #3 - Since Cybrus bought the company, they have announced that they are discontinuing 50% of the models and out sourcing the IT Dept to a forgein country, thus laying off many Mi. workers. This seriously entered into my decision not to deal with Chrysler again

Now here is the KICKER - they are charging me $300 because I did not re-lease a Chrysler, calling it a disposition fee!!!! They said it was in my contract, but I can't find it and they never told me about this when I leased. The are penalizing me because they have ugly cars and poor engineering!! They charged me $217 for a scratch on the passenger door that they said was so deep, they had to repaint it - not true. Their was a crack on the front fender, way at the bottom they stated could not be fixed and a whole new bumper had to be put on - Not True. I did have a serious scratch in one area were someone hit me and left the scene of the accident.

They tried to charge me $1762.78 for damages. What a rip off, penalizing me because I did not buy a Chrysler. I am going to charge them $1200 in small claims court because their contract with me was voided when my car did not supply heat to the drivers side foot area. I am steamed. How can I charge them and have the amount taken off the $1762.78?

It's dodge's problem you have "cold feet"? I have never turned on the "foot well" heater in any vehicle I have ever own. Here's a suggestion. Either put on warm socks, shoes or boots. Only a fool wouldn't and suffer the way you state you have. It's dodge's problem you're "height challenged"? Buy a vehicle that "fit". That's an idea. Buy a honda fit. "They are discountinuing 50% of their models". What kind of idiot company would continue to build models that people DON'T buy and they lose money on? "..out sourcing the IT Dept to a foreign country". Yeah, them and about 50% of every other company in the United States. All the rest I agree with. Every company tries to screw you over IF you don't either buy or lease another vehicle from them. I knew ford was gonna get my on the tires on a lease pick up I had with them, so I went out and bought the CHEAPEST set of new tires I could find. They were like $65 a piece. Otherwise the dealer was gonna hit me up for a new set of michelins for $1000. I probably would have gone to a cheap body shop and had some touch up work done. It's gonna be kind of hard to win in court since you drove the vehicle the whole time and didn't complain UNTIL the end of the lease.
