CIC Credit Monitoring ripoff Orange California
I am another victim of this rip-off company. I had applied for a free credit report over the internet the first of May. I received a letter asking me to call them to verify some information but I did not follow through. When my credit card came back as declined when I tried to use it this weekend I checked to see why. Much to my amazement there was an unauthorized charge of $79.95 on my card. To say I was perturbed is to put it mildly. What makes it even worse is that I never received the credit report. I have complained to the California Attorney General's office - let's see if that does any good.

I have contacted CIC Credit Monitoring to get the $79.95 charge taken off my credit card. They informed me that I was eligible for a full refund and that it would take 10 days. Let's see if they follow through with the full refund. I am also contacting my credit card company to block any further charges from this company.
