I ordered a dress from this company in September. I ordered a size larger then what i normally wear as i knew a june wedding may be hot and i did not want to be uncomfotable. They accepted my order of 119.99 plus shipping and handling(40.00), my total was to be 159.99. I agreed to that and gave my credit card information. When I received my next statement there was a charge of 300.00 from another name I was not familiar with. I called the credit card company and they said I needed to contact the dress company. I called Lisa and talked to her, explaining that I am a single mom with a limited income and could not possibly afford a 300.00 gown. She went on to explain that a larger sizes are always charged more and shipping is also more. I asked her why I wasn't made aware of the extra charges before and she never did answer me. I know sometime larger sizes are extra but not 141.00 extra. Through e-mails she offered a 100.00 refund and sent the dress. When i received the dress it did not appear to be the champagne color I ordered, more goldish. It was very very tight and remember I ordered it larger to begin with. I took the dress to an alterations shop and she commented that this dress has been previously altered. Checking each statement for the refund I became discouraged and e-mail again just asking when i could be expecting my refund and I got no response. I called Lisa and she became very defensive and agitated right away. I went on to tell her that the dress was to tight and i was waiting for the refund to pay for alteration and she outright called me a liar. I said I was just wanting the refund that we agreed on and she told me she didn't have to do anything. My dress came from China and the receipt showed a 20.00 shipping charge. Three months had passed at this time and now the credit card company is unable to help as they allow 30 days to dispute a charge, which Lisa was probably aware of. At this point I have contacted the North Dakot Attorney Generals Office, The Ohio Attorney Generals Office, my personal attorneyand the credit card company. All I want is for my credit card to be refunded 300.00 and I will gladly return the dress. Lisa is a very hateful, rude person and I do not want to support her scam. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
