I can understand your problem with Cingular. It seems they have done this to to many people since they were Bell South Mobility. Do a search on the internet for Cingular,fines, problems etc. You should uncover an article that they were fined Many millions of dollars for poor customer service and charging people early termanation fees. I had a problem many years ago and they only offered me a $5.00 credit for turning off my phone for their mistake. They kept it on my credit record for years. It almost kept me from purchasing my home. After Cingular was fined they removed the removed the delinquency. Keep writing the FCC and the attorney general office. Believe me they keep record of this. Good Luck.
