CC will refund or exchange the item within 15 days of purchase if the item just fails on you. You said you had it for 10 months and only had the manufactures warranty, hint the word WARRANTY. CC had nothing to do with the item after the 15 day return policy if you didn't buy a protection plan.

Circuit City made it quite clear to me over the past month that they have no problem with lying to you about the warranty. They dont mind lying on the website, nor do they mind lying to you on the phone. They added 9 months to the warranty on the item I purchased...however the producer of the item didnt back those nine months up because...survey says: those nine months they added were plucked out of thin air. Its just downright hilarious to read the reports about Circuit City that have obvious employees defending the company. Since the beginning of the month there are 12 reports? Thats almost one a day. They have horrid customer service, they are one of the most dishonest companies Ive ever dealt with. I will never, ever, do business with them again...but if I get my "gift card refund" they promised me for a third time on the item that they lied about the time of the warranty...Ill be selling it on ebay, lol.

I'm sorry...but please explain again how it was Circuit City that ripped you off? You bought a floor model, at a discounted price, it worked for almost a full year(I'll assume around 10 months), you tried to return the item (9 months past the return date), CC said no (obviously), you sent the item to Panasonic (who you still had a warrenty with), and Panasonic refused to fix it....it seems to me that your problem should be with Panasonic not with Circuit. If an open box item is going to break it will usually do so shortly after buying it...if you said it broke a month after buying it, or two, or even three months, I might believe that it was somehow the store's fault...but almost a year...come on...you can't blame the store for that.
