I got this credit card my second year of school. When my parents moved, i got a bill that was sent to them and they forwarded it to me. I filled out the form on the back to change the address. Apparently, this is not sufficient for them because I did not get a bill for four months. During those four months, i sent them two more letters with the address that the bill should be sent to, which did nothing to help the problem.

I sent checks to Citi Cards so that my account wouldnt go into default, but low and behold, it takes them a week and a half to get a check, so of course, my account goes into default. Over that span, i sent them nearly 300 dollars. They jacked my rate to 27.99 percent, so all that money did not even cover the interest and the late fees that had accumulated. I have recently found out that this interest rate may be illegal for the state that I live in, so i am checking into that through the help of an attorney. I wrote a check on the morning of the 3rd, sent it that same day, and it did not get entered until the 11th. Thats eight days when the back of my bill, that i now finally get, says 5-7 days. Something is wrong with that picture.

When i called to see why my rate was so high, i could not get an answer from anyone. The manager was very short and rude when i asked him any questions. He would only say things starting with, "The bottom line is..." That is not how businesses should be treating their customers.

I had cut up the card and recently closed the account, and now i am unable to pay my bill online because of it. It would be much easier for them and myself.

The company as a whole is very unorganized and ruthless when it comes to being customer friendly. Their customer service representatives and managers are very uneducated and are unable to help me any time i call them with any problem or questions.
