They take a fee to place an ad, and tell you they will promote your business. Fee is $400 -$500+. Then they do nothing. Never ever saw my ad.

Hi, I actually work for The Claims Pages in our east coast branch. I assure you that The Claims Pages field manuals for adjusters are very real and if you placed an ad in one of our directories, than it can most certainly be found there in. We have a rather large distribution for a company our size and I regret to say that occasionally books do not reach their intended destinations (although NOT often). If you did not receive your copy of the California book please contact your account executive and they will gladly remedy the situation. The west coast office handles that particular publication and can be reached at 800-996-4692. I apologize for the inconvenience on behalf of everyone here at The Claims Pages. Our company, although an advertising company, is not a faceless and greedy corporation. We are active in charities in our respective communities (toys for tots, make a wish foundation, etc.) and are registered with the better business bureau under The Claims Pages and our parent company Nationwide Publishing Company Inc. We also have great relationships with the Property Loss Research Bureau and the National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters. Our advertisers range from the national fortune 500 to the local one man owner operator and we are anything but a scam. I would urge you and any other concerned parties to contact us directly to resolve any issues as we have people on staff for that purpose. I understand your frustration and thank you for voicing your opinion. Companies that do business over the phone are often judged unfairly without the opportunity to explain themselves. Thank you for expressing yourself publicly so that we might have a chance to resolve this issue.
