Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Went to a job interview with Clearwater Communications Inc. Found it suspicious that there was very little information to be found about them. At the interview I met a man named Stephen, who told me great things about how they were outsourced by T-Mobile etc and how rapidly they were growing. Explained to me that the same opportunity for growth was available to me, and how quickly I could advance through the company. Basically music to my ears. He told me he doesn't ordinarily do it at the end of the interview, and how he hasn't called anyone else back from today, but in my case (because I was so special) he would schedule me to shadow an employee who works there.

When I got home and pondered how the things said were too good to be true, I went and researched more. I didn't get his last name from the interview, but I went to www.sunbiz.org and looked up the articles of incorporation to make sure the business was legitimate. Under that file, I saw that the company itself was incorporated for Stephen Kordella.

With his full name I googled it and well... you might as well do the same. There are plenty of complaints filed on Ripoff Report bringing attention to his questionable business ethics. It appears that he moved his operation to Florida under a new business name, and looks to continue the same scheme until he has to relocate again.

Yes, it's absolutely true. I worked for this company when it was TMG right after college in Indianapolis in 2011, before Stephen Kordella had to apparently uproot himself and move to Florida where he hadn't scammed every new college graduate in the area. It was the same routine: "You're special and I don't normally do this, but..."

I lasted nearly two months, desperate to make enough money to survive. I quit my job that I worked through college at a coffee shop where I made $11 an hour and I would have given anything to have that back at the time. I had to drive my own car around and some days I didn't have enough money for gas. I think I may have made $1000 the entire time I worked there.

The hours were like 7am to 5 or 6pm and for the first two hours, all we did were "team-building activities" and practiced cold-calling techniques on each other. Stephen would freak out on anyone who was late and he wasn't even paying any of us!

The whole idea was to walk around door-to-door to businesses (in your territory) and cold call employees (which is extremely rude--my husband is a business owner and he would tell someone like that to leave immediately). The rest is super sketchy--just carbon copies of contracts, no phones to look at, no plans. Why would anyone fall for that? It was impossible to succeed.

Now that I'm older, I have a Master's Degree and a much more stable, successful career, I'm less naive about companies like this. I can spot them very easily. But I feel for the younger people on whom this man is still preying.

I remember Stephen saying that something slanderous was put on Google about him and that he was anti-Google because it would cost $10,000 to have something about him removed from Google. I hope everyone he comes across knows what a piece of worthless human garbage he is.
