I have been a member of the gym for a number of years and have had a few billing issues over the course of the membership but the biggest issue is now that I want to cancel the membership. I went to the club on 4/8/13 and filled out their cancelation form and handed it back to the person at the front desk. I woudl assume that was all I had to do but not at club metro you need to jum through hoops. I was still being charged 2 months later for membership. I called and was told I need to come into the gym. I did on 6/19/13 and spoke with Dave who claimed to be a manager. To test him i said I was in on 4/7/13 and filled out a cancelation. He said Sorry you were here on the 8th not the 7th. so you do have my cancelation i asked and he said YES it was never processed and you need to call the customer service number. He gave me the number I asked if we could call and he said use your cell. I asked again if he was joking or really I could not use the phone sitting in front of us. He said seriously use your cell I cant let customers use the phone. I called the number infront of him and got a answering machine. I left a message and Dave told me nobody listens to the machine you need to keep calling and speak to someone. The machine by the way says monday through friday 10 to 5. I prceeded to call for the next 2 days and must have called easily 30+ times and never did anyone answer the phone.

Today 6/24/13 i received a call from ABC Financial who collects the monthly dues. They said I am past due the rep's name was Trina. I explained what is going on and they put me on hold and called club metro. When Trina came back she explained yes I did cancel the membership but the club never put any paperwork through so I did not in their eyes cancel any membership. I woudl have to go to the gym and ask for Dennis. I have met Dennis in the past and he never returns calls as I had billing issues in the past as I mentioned earlier and he never followed through with a call.  So I went to the club at 5:30pm and there was Dave again with a smile and said you haven't gotten anywhere I guess. I then asked for Dennis and a lady who said she is a manager asked if she can help. We went to the side office and I explained my case ( I do feel bad as I was extremely aggrivated and might have gotten loud) she looked up my account and again yep you canceled but we never sent any paperwork. She assures me they will resolve this.  This is unprofessional and annoying to deal with this company. Dave had even said to me on my first visit with him that this is common. So now I wait to hear if this will ever be resolved.
