Thief Lists Excellent Condition Gun Colt Mustang for $800 or trade. Traded $800 New In Box Colt Light Rifle as trade. I open the box in front of 2 witnesses immediately after receiving it.

Thief sends me a 50% condition gun Colt Mustang with heavy tool digs from prying out the magazine with a screwdriver or prybar and the ammo on the frame top and bottom and inside the slide.

The slide has excessive rust on both sides of the slide outside.

The pictures in the auction show something, that he explained away as just the picture quality. Nothing is wrong with the gun he says.

I contact the liar and he says he "didn't send it that way."

I report him to Gunbroker.com and they don't respond or care since he moves allot of guns and pays the commission to them. He then tries to offer me $150 to shut me up about the trade If I promise to give him great feedback.

I respond to him stating the guns blue book value of $225 for its condition and expect the difference between that and the $800 gun I sent the fraud.

He says $200 (for the gun "not sent in that condition" mind you) and wants a great feedback. No dice I said and he then enters this feed back on my account:

"Buyer trying to blackmail me for $300.00 so he can reblue 3 spots on the gun he bought. Crazy. F-" Not a word heard or response from Gunbroker.com on the matter at all. I sent them copies of every email sent.

This isn't the 1st time he's done this and Gunbroker only lets you see 1 bad feedback on this fraud. The one guy paid for a new rifle and recieved a used beat up rifle instead:

"BEWARE!! The high price item was falsely described as NIB but had many handling marks as witnessed by my FFL dealer. Has harsh return policy and attempts to intimidate low feedback buyers !!"

I tell the thief to send back my rifle and I'll return the junk he sent me. The Thief says I have to send him the junker first and pay for both shipping and a 15% restocking fee.

Call me stupid one time, I'm surely not giving him the oportunity to keep both guns, which he says he "didn't send in that condition." He would claim such and keep both. He puts on the bottom of his emails " I am honest and educated." Of course the number of times he says it doesn't make it true or call me and idiot.

I didn't check his feedback since Gunbroker.com lists his feedback as A+ which is the highest, with no mention of the dirty dealings of this thief.

Gunbroker claims to insure this type problem with $100 deductable, real fair don't you know. I have to wait 30 days before I can file anything with them including a fraud report and not more than 60 days time, "to give the seller time to respond" they say. I think his response is very clear, numerous times.

I intend to file with FTC, Post Office for Interstate Postal Fraud and anything I can with ATF. Surely someone as dishonest as this has shady firearm dealings at the shop also and can be investigated.

I hope this helps someone "BEFORE" they do the dirty deal in the future. I wish it had helped me..
