Colorado River Adventures CRA, Havasu Springs Resort, Emerald Cove Resort, Cherry Hills Resort, Julian, El Golfo DO NOT DUMP $10,000 INTO THIS RV RESORT. THERE ARE NO "OPENINGS" WHEN YOU CALL TO RESERVE A SPOT. NO SPOTS FOR YOUR RV LEFT. THEY PUT IN 100'S OF TRAILERS FOR NON RV PEOPLE TO "RENT" OUT IN OUR RV SPO Parker, Arizona
This RV resort company has several resorts. They are now adding some "cabins" (park model mobile homes) and trailers (they call Park Models) to their RV sites. That way they can yank thousands out of NON Rv owners as well as us RV owners.
They sell memberships and extras..like vacation cottages for one week every year. They never have anything "available' when you call to book a RV spot OR a cottage that you've all ready paid $10,000.00 for. You still have to pay almost $500 a year and they are telling older folks who have lost EVERYTHING they must pay until they die or they will turn them over to collections and ruin their credit.
They have salespeople who GIVE you their own personal cell numbers and tell you to "call them" anytime you have a problem..then when you DO call them..they won't help you and wont' even return your call or pick up their phone. Obviously they have hundreds of unhappy people they've "sold" to...
The resorts are not that "bad". Julian has a filthy swimming pool...but that happens on holiday weekends. Cherry Hills is right ON I-10 so that semi's going by shake your RV..and there is NOTHING to do but fish in their tiny lake and throw them back in (catch and release). Emerald Cove at Earp, CA by Parker has a hundred Salem Trailers now in every spot that they "rent" to members and/or their families.
Join Thousand Trails..or pay each park you go to. This is NO way to go. You cannot get a space for your RV. They say they are full up when there are spaces all over!
