First, did you get a reciept from the individual that you gave the box to? Second, DO NOT ever do business with door to door salespeople for services that you can order over the phone with the company or in the local office!!!! Third, every time you change your bill you will get prorates. Get a calculator and figure up how much you are being charged for each individual service and how much is being taken off for the promotion. Fourth, have you made a payment at all yet? The longer it drags on the more you will wind up paying FIFTH AND MOST IMPORTANT--One you have sat down with your calculator and figured everything up to the best of your ability, call Comcast over the phone and DO NOT GET OFF until you understand completely what you are being charged for and what you owe. Get a confirmed amount from the person that you are talking to. Tell them that you will be calling back in 24 hours to double check that the amount is as they stated. Get their name, ext number, sales ID whatever it takes to be able to identify the person. Then ask for their supervisor's name so that in case they do not follow through you have someone to report them to. If they refuse to give that information ask to speak to their supervisor right then. If they say they are not available then tell them you will hold. An agent's service stats are based on call time and hold time. I can guarantee they will get you someone promplty. DO NOT accept a call back!!! But do your due diligence first. Always do your research and do not let scam artist's like "Direct Sales" agents (the person you originally ordered with) take advantage of you. Yes they are cheaper up front but most are unscrupulous and will cause you more problems in the long run.
