ComputerMaan - Juan Michael Computer fraud, ripoff, Took money and did not deliver product Los Angeles California
Purchased 2 computers through Ebay and paid with Paypal. He also has a website setup. Juan Michael had excuses for not shipping which extended beyond the point that Ebay and Paypal would assist.
Recently a letter from his lawyer has arrived saying that there would be a repayment plan. The next letter was from him stating that he could not adhere to the payment plan and he was including a $25 money order as a sign of good faith. It is now our understanding that this was done to move the issue from criminal to civil. He owes us ~$2500 and will not respond to emails or calls. We have contacted every agency we could find. We are in the process of filing judgements.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let us know. But some advise, DO NOT purchase anything from Juan Michael.

This person is just one of several people that was hurt by the business practices of PayPal. Because of their practices ...Their policies over rule any agreement made by the auctioneer and bidder on ebay. Because of their system they began to frezze funds for almost unlimited amounts of time. while still being paid their fees gained by the auction on ebay. They are still in a class-action lawsuit as a result of it. As a result of these practice I was forced to refund as many customers as possible and unfortunatly liquidate my company assets, and eventually went out business.There are still a few people that were not refunded and to those( Including this consumer) I can only apologize. I have been investigated by the Justice Dept as well as my local authorities and was found not at fault. I agree that this situation is very unfortuate and it does not replace the loss of this consumer. I am totally out of business and shall not enter into this type not any type of internet business again. Anyone reading this rebuttal...... Please BEWARE of how you conduct business on EBAY or PAYPAL... This situation have put several companies out business and it seems that only EBAY & PAYPAL continue to be paid at... MOST IMPORTANTLY !!! THE CONSUMERS EXPENSE !!! Once again I do apologize for any inconvienence your transaction with The Computermaan has caused you or your family.
