Con-way truckload Trying to say I was terminated Lol joplin, Missouri
I need help! Con-way truckload is trying to say I was terminated but I have them on a voicemail saying am I going to stay and if I did not contact them the next day they would have to report it as voluntary resignation. I have phone records showing I contacted them the next day and spoke to my DM.
Me and my Dad run team together it all started with a few upper management that we caught them in many lies we quit on the qualcomm and which is a permanent record and we have other companies that can say that we were going to go work with. Well the next day my dad had a rollover accident it was not his fault the roads were wet and he was going the speed limit the truck hydroplaned he got the truck under control and the truck done a nose dive in the dirt and layed over. When the claim adjuster showed up he done his investigation and told my dad there should be no problem keeping your job my dad and me were like we don't want to keep our job with con-way he said ok. My dad received no tickets and no one was injured. So we thought ok we are cool because there is no way con-way can say it's a preventable wrong con-way said he could have slowed down we just laughed someone with 20 years plus of experience should have slowed down now he was going the speed limit. And now they are saying I was terminated when I have proof that they wanted me to still work with them and like I said before if I did not contact them which I did it would be a voluntary resignation.
Drivers plz read before trying con-way truckload they do try to mess with your whole life.
I hope there is a con-way employee our one of the ceo's that see this ad and actually review our case that can see really what is going on in there company and do some spring cleaning because there is alot of childish games they play there at that company and as a person who was a officer to see the disrespect they show there drivers. Any attorneys plz leave your name and a way to contact u there is got to be something I can do about this termination I did nothing to deserve this neither did my dad we might have a suit against the tire company because it was thoughs super single tires which is the cause of the hydroplane plz help and thx to all of u that read this

You spoke of hydroplaning,that's called to fast for conditions,when ever you wreck a vehicle with no one else invovled if it's not mechanical it's the drivers fault.Sorry but it's that plain and simple.As far as what's going on with you,anything is possible,I would say just look for a new job and move on.
The one thing you have to keep in mind with these big trucking companies,is the driver is never right,and they don't care how many lies they have to tell to prove it.

I am not asking for my job back I am saying there has to be something wrong when u are the one that was not even driving the truck and u have a voicemail saying we would love to have u and then when u tell them no I quit they turn around and say u were terminated. This company has it coming to them they don't even care at all for there drivers don't worry I have a attorney it's not right it looks bad on me when I did nothing wrong and they ask me what I was going to do after my partner had the accident. I am showing people this might happen to them and I guess I am doing a good job because u seen it.

I read your report on this situation. I'm the driver who came upon you while the wreckers were there. I stopped to make sure everyone was ok, and I talked to you. I was glad to see only equipment was hurt.
I know your mad, and I have had my own issues with the company; but you have to know that you're beating a dead horse here.
Simply put; if you lose control of your truck and roll it; and you were'nt forced off the road....then, it's your baby!! You knew then, that as a team, you were finished with Con Way..and you would be, with any major carrier..
Like I said; I'm not here to sing their praises, but facts are facts...sorry
